Thankful Thursdays ~ A Fresh, Fresh Anointing! ~ Encore’

This morning I awoke with what I can only describe as a fresh anointing from the Lord!

It came over me in the midst of cleaning house, loading the laundry into the washing machine and popping up some last-minute fall decorations.  It is funny sometimes when and how God moves isn’t it?  But I knew it was clearly a moving of the Holy Spirit !

I felt the urge to sing, so I sang.  I felt the urge to pray, so I prayed as well.

It is Thankful Thursday and so on Thursday’s particularly my attention is always focused more on the Lord and what I can share here on my website to encourage us all to have a heart of gratitude and thanksgiving.  But I must be honest this Thankful Thursday felt and continues to feel very, very different.

There is a joy abounding in my heart today like I have not felt in quite some time.  It is not a joy I am somehow trying to create but a true joy and a feeling that I really cannot find words to describe.

Today is different…

So again this morning I began to sing as I cleaned.  I began to pray out loud and I began to cry.  These were tears of gratitude, hope and encouragement.

In June, I felt the Winds were finally shifting for myself and for Winters, but yesterday was a true shift for me. It was clear and evident in my heart and in our decisions and choices that we are making.  Oklahoma, lose and pain seemed in the distance.

I can only account for this because there are times in our lives we know God is calling us to step out in faith and do something.  Often He calls us to do something different.

Indeed there is a joy and excitement in my heart and I am so excited to see what God is going to do!

I will share more in the weeks ahead but my prayer for you my friends is trust God to help you do what He has called you to do.  There is no doubt in my mind if He calls you He will equip you.  I also want you to remember that we do not have to be all put together and be able to do everything well for Him to use us either.

I can certainly make a wonderful list of all my short comings and if that will help you I am totally comfortable doing so.  But as I prayed this morning on this Thankful Thursday I heard in my spirit man, It takes courage to be all God has called you to be!  Amen and Amen Sister.  It takes courage.  I pray today that God will fall afresh on you.  I pray that you will trust God to guide and order your steps.  That you will remember that He knows the plans He has for you! Plans that are good and to give you a future and a hope!  Remember to focus your attention on that which is pure and noble and good!

Do not give up and do not give!

My sweet dear friends, ask God to fulfill His call on your life and whatever He has called you to do whether it was today you felt His call or 20 years ago believe and trust Him to do what He has called you to do.

We serve a mighty God who can do anything if we simply yield our life to him and say “Here I am, use me!”

Be blessed and encouraged abundantly today as we remember it is never to late for a fresh anointing and it is never to late to be all God has called you be in the holy and might name of Jesus!
