Winters wrote this for his Sunday Column yesterday.  It brought me a great deal of self reflection and some tears as well.  It is funny and heart warming but most of all it is also a story of restoration.  I hope it blesses you or someone you may know! Sometimes our best laid plans aren’t the best plans after all and yet, sometimes they are.  We must  just be willing to see it, that being the plan that is different from our own. Yesterday, I had a bit of fun sharing our day on Facebook with some friends that followed along.  For those that didn’t, I think it is a perfect message from the Little Black Dress today. Those of you who know me well know I adore Christmas, and if you don’t know me, well, it wouldn’t take long for you to soon...

Here is just a small bit of wisdom from the WORD OF GOD for this Sunday! Isaiah 61 is one of my favorite chapters in the Bible.  The chapter title is called The Year of the Lord’s Favor. How appropriate for so many in our country that need a new year.  How appropriate for each of us to remember God’s favor and mercies are never-ending. If you to need a new fresh start this is a must read!  I want to share a few of my favorite verses with you but I hope you will want to take a moment to read this...
