Corby’s Artistic Expressions

As a Christian and an Artist, I love to use everything I can, including my jewelry and paintings, as a testimony to our Lord and Savior.

I have painted most of my life on and off, but would often stop because I was not sure how it fit into my life and my ministry.  I remember my mother never fully embracing her gift as an artist or making the time for it.  This always made me sad because she was far more talented than she ever knew.

I have always tried to step boldly into my gifts and encourage others to do so as well.  Artistic expression is just one part of who I am and I want to share it as the Lord leads me and to give God the glory for it!

I started designing jewelry when we lived in Alaska in 1998 and I especially love to incorporate crosses. They are one of my favorite things to design. They are a wonderful way to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others.

People will often comment on my crosses, which provide a perfect opportunity to share Jesus with them. When they say they like it, I usually say in return. “Thank you, I love the cross too, but I love more what Jesus did on it for us.”

It is short and to the point and a great way to share the love of Jesus in a very non-threatening way. My art is created to be witness wear!

I know God made us multi-faceted and gave each of us many gifts and talents to share and celebrate.  I pray you too begin to discover your dreams, passions and purpose and celebrate your gifts!
