Stepping into your purpose can be the greatest time of your life and yet also the hardest.  That’s because life is made up of seasons.

In some seasons, you find yourself in the right place and smack dab in the middle of God’s will for your life. If you are like me, you can remember those moments like they were yesterday. You were right where God wanted you. You were in the right place at the right time.

And what do you do if you find yourself in the middle of your perfect purpose and someone else goes and messes it all up?  It has happened to me more than once.  Their crazy or bad judgement sent my perfect moment out the window.  It can happen.  Remember we are people of free will and able to make good choices as well as poor ones, paying little regard to those around us.

There may be times you feel like you are wandering in the desert just like the Israelites. Sadly, you say to yourself, here I go again around that same mountain and no closer to my promised land. There is a sand storm swirling all around you.

But to be in our purpose and fulfill our dreams all that must change!

Those are the times to act, to step out in faith and embark on your life journey. Sometimes embarking on your dream feels like you are swinging on a star or maybe hanging on by a thread.  Stepping into our purpose is not easy, in fact, I would say most of the time it is extremely difficult.   Noah, Joseph, Moses and countless other believers found stepping out in faith to fulfill  God’s call on their life was a  long and complicated road. But I am certain they would say it was well worth it.

Circumstances, finances, timing, self-image, fear and of course, those darn nay-sayers, can sure get in the way of our God-given purpose.

But step in we must.  We must step boldly in faith and step with the support of those who believe in our purpose and God’s plan  for our life!

One thing I have learned for certain is, God is all about connecting people with people. You will know them when you see them. They are the ones who say things like “How can I help you” and they expect nothing in return, or they say “I want to introduce you to my friend” or “How can I pray for you.”

We must not forget, God wants to fulfill His purpose in you probably more than you want to fulfill your purpose for Him. (That could be a tongue twister) So trust me, God is going to connect you with the right people in order for you to fulfill His purpose!  But dear friends, we must be looking for those people who God wants in our lives as well as be open to know whose lives we are to be a part of!

I love Revelations 3:7-8  “What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open.  I know your deeds.  See I have placed before you an open door that one can shut.”   When you are where God wants you the doors will indeed be open and if they are not, then try another door. It is usually never easy, but it is obedience.  As you step into your purpose ask God to open doors that He wants open.  Ask that they be wide open and not a crack. For you want certainty and clarity sweet friend!

God says in His word that He orders our steps.  We must pray for Him to lead our every step and seek wisdom from those who wish to help us reach our greatest potential and purpose.

But we must remember that although venues may change and dreams alter, God’s purpose for us is constant.  The funny thing is God doesn’t need a perfect place or even a perfect time for you and I to step into our purpose.

What makes it perfect is that we  finally follow the voice of God.

We just have to step!!!!!

It will probably feel a bit scary.  We may have a few butterflies in our stomach.  We may even question ourselves.  But the greatest thing about stepping into your purpose is that God is with you and He can fulfill His purpose in us any where, any time, any way.  We just have to be willing to say, here am I God, use me and then step!

“When was the last time you felt it?”

“Are you in your purpose and  fulfilling your dreams?”

Sweet sisters in Christ please hear me, the bottom line is this –  sometimes we wait for everything to be just right. We wait for the right confirmation from God. We wait for the perfect season. We wait for the perfect signs from the Lord.

And we wait and we wait and we wait….

But in waiting we miss out on stepping into our purpose.

You must start where you are, start now, birth the dream and step out in faith and into purpose!

If you are waiting for the perfect timing, it doesn’t exist. There is no perfect Season.  There is only obedience. There is only faith.  There is only a surrendered heart. That, my sweet friend, is what makes a season perfect – when you act in faith on purpose.

If God says step out, then step out we must.  Even if onlookers think you have lost your mind, Step Sister, Step!

And to the precious women who share their lives with me and are a part of my life, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life.  Thank you for sharing this dream with me. You are a gift!

Until we meet again, embrace and celebrate your greatness in HIM!

Be Blessed and  Be Encouraged as you step, or maybe, leap into your purpose !
