Grief Waits For You My Dear Sweet Friends
In light of the recent tragedy in Newnan of the death of a young bright talented 17-year-old Heritage student then the devastating Oklahoma tornadoes my heart has been full of much pain and grief for those I know and those I have never even met before. To deal with my heartache and pain I write. That is what I do. These past few days I could not help remember my own pain, loss and grief these past years when my parents died. I wrote this following blog and it has comforts me over and over again. I am...

Yesterday I had the opportunity to do the devotional at Peachtree City JobSeekers. For weeks I knew what I was going to share, as most often I feel God’s leading toward a certain message when I am to speak or write. So I was already to share my message, We are all broken Pots, a post I wrote and it is also in the Power Prayer Girls Handbook I am writing. I love the story and in the nutshell it is about this fabulous french vase that I bought and it was broken in the garage before we ever had the joy of...

Too fast? Fast cars, fast food and the fast lane? Or is it rather, to fast or not? I say make fasting a way of life! There is no doubt you will grow closer to God with fasting. If you have not heard from Him lately, fasting and praying can certainly heighten your sensitivity to hearing God speak to your life and circumstance. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that sharpens and hones us as followers of Christ. I was so blessed to have a Godly mother, a prayer warrior who fasted regularly. She fasted,...

Don’t Breathe ~ Don’t Move Don’t Breathe ~ Don’t Move Don’t Breathe ~ Don’t Move “Are you kidding? How could I move?” I replied. I must have heard that 50 times last week within the span of one hour. Healthy living and being a FabYOUlous you involves hearing those words a lot over a woman’s lifetime. After an hour or so of the “don’t breathe, don’t move” routine, they let me go with a final “We will call you if anything seems out...
