Reading, believe it or not, is a great way to stay healthy and strong inside and out!

This may seem funny coming from a woman who has struggled with dyslexia and reading most of her life.  However, I just kept at it and it has certainly gotten so much easier for me.  Dedication and discipline pays off and as my Dad always said, your struggles do make you stronger!

I have always read because I think you can always learn more. One of the most important things you can have is a teachable spirit.  When you think you know it all, you’re in trouble.  It is also important to remember that knowledge is power!

On my website I list some of my favorite books.  But today I wanted to share my most recent find and encourage you to get busy reading.  Summer is a perfect time to do it because many of us will be at the pool, the beach or traveling, which is a prefect time to read.

Winters has always said that one of his favorite things to do is to sit and read together.  He thinks that is romantic.  Me, not so much.  A night alone cooking clams on the beach, now that is what I call an unforgettable night.  If I happen to have  a book with me well, okay, but I would rather be doing something else than reading.

Ha, Ha! So I  am not sure that reading would be on the top of my list.  However, if it works for Winters I am all for it.  Just get me a really, really good book and I am in!

When you open a book, you can go on wonderful adventures, be transcended to foreign places, travel the great unknown, meet interesting people, savor magical moments and be inspired for a lifetime!  The latest book I am reading inspires the reader to greatness and to seek and pursue your goals.

Mixing opioids with alcohol may lead to: Slower heart rate Breathlessness or slower breathing Extreme drowsiness and nausea Tremors Impairment of sensory motor skills Sleepiness Harms of alcohol and opioids abuse – in stats The abuse of opioids led to a significant increase of emergency department (ED) visits and deaths in the past decade. viagra 25 mg Why viagra online in india safety was considered in the past? Sildenafil inhibits an enzyme generic cialis in canada known as PDE-5 inhibitors. My latest find is Success Principles by John Canfield.  It is 450 pages, but every page is filled with life changing information.  So if you are in the mood for a new book, this would be a perfect one to help you toward living a healthier life.

I am half way through and can barely put it down. But it’s summer and the Sons of Thunder are around 24/7, so I catch bits and pieces while at the pool and at bedtime.  No doubt we have to make time to do the things that benefit us, even if we don’t think we have the time, we must make the time. That goes for going to church, exercising, eating healthy and cutting out bad habits.

Information is a great thing, especially when you are learning from a person who has been there and done that!

In Success Principles, you will learn practical ways to set goals and achieve the dreams and life you want. Canfield shares stories of hundreds of people like you and me that have accomplished what they have set out to do.  Everything from writing books to selling art to becoming Olympic athletes.

As a former pageant queen and counselor, I have used many of these tools to achieve the goals I have set for myself . But life gets in the way and we can become discouraged and weary on our life’s journey.  This book will reboot you goals, passions, purpose and dreams! I guarantee it is worth your time and money to read this book!  And if I can read a book that is 450 pages so can you!

So this summer as you set out to be a more healthy FabYOUlous You, why not go for it – read a book that can give you the tools to improve your life. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Be blessed and encouraged abundantly today as we remember that knowledge is power and we can stay healthy through reading life-changing books!
