Wow! Yesterday was such a spectacular day!!!!

A day full of cleaning, vacuuming,  writing, fasting and praying.

I know that cleaning, praying, fasting, praying and the word “spectacular” don’t  always go hand in hand, but girlfriends it was in deed a great day!  Great for many reasons and here is why:

Today’s healthy living tip is one day late and is really quite plain and simple.  There are times when staying healthy means you must clean, write, pray, fast and rely on the expertise of others. For me that meant trusting  the Lord and Winters in my case.

So I trusted and today we celebrate!

Yes, celebrate because tonight I will be teaching a group of young women my all new Pure EmPowerment Seminar!  Empowering young women to be pure in their passions, their pursuits and their purpose!  I spent yesterday praying for these young women, the message I will share and that God will use me.  Yes, use me in spite of myself . But there is even more great news!

Yes, I spent the day cleaning, scrubbing, praying, fasting and even had a few grieving moments over the loss of my parents too.  It is usually when I come across those sweet notes and pictures that I feel the waves of loss rush over me.  Our lives are full, really full aren’t they?

But in the midst of all this, a miracle happened. And, no it was not a perfectly cleaned house, but the birth of a logo for Pure EmPowerment.  It was all due to Winters and Miss Beth, his miracle worker.  She is Winters’ amazing graphics gal in Maine who use to work for him in Alaska. Remember God is all about connecting people with people.  It is one of the things He does best, well, besides saving the world.  I have to say Beth and Winters are amazing. Here’s a link to her site: berrygraphics.com

This is a logo that I have dreamed of and envisioned and tried to design for more than eight years.  Really I am not kidding. Ever since Caleb had a cute little friend in kindergarten with a crown on her shirt and shield on it,  knew that was the logo I wanted for my seminar for young women.  I would sketch it, design it, and could never make it happen on my own.

God birthed this big dream in my heart more than 8 years ago and yesterday with the help of Beth and Winters it all became a reality.  I could never do it on my own, I had to have their help.  So the lesson is to ask for help and give help.  If we don’t, then others just may not be able to fulfill their purpose and neither may you.  Think about it!

Dreams take a while as I said last Thursday, but we must make time for the dream and we must have faith and hope that the dream will be fulfilled!

And after a long day full of  hard work we ended the day by breaking the rules and watching movies  on a school night with the SONS. OOOOOOOh! I know! But sometimes you have to know when to shake things up.

But it was all good!

The first movie was Nanny McPhee! This was all good especially for me.

The other important advantages of going for using Kamagra UK products instead of other ineffective and generic levitra 5mg unreasonably expensive sexual ED drugs are one of the most effective and reliable option available for men to get rid of these situations. Now a days there are numerous therapies solutions for male discover here generic viagra online impotence. You should ensure sound sleep of at least generic levitra australia 8 hours daily. viagra generic However, erectile dysfunction can throw a dangerous curve ball; it affects not only your relationship but your overall wellbeing and quality of life as well. I love Nanny McPhee and I especially love the ending.  I cry every time.

It is full of faith, hope and a future. It is all about hanging on to the dream.

At the very end of the movie the father, who is a widower and has 6 children, is about to marry this terrible woman to save his family from being split up.  Thankfully, Nanny McPhee quietly makes sure the wedding falls apart with  the help of the children of course. The scullery maid is right there and the Father ends up marrying her, the one he wanted in the first place.  Sometimes we don’t see what is right in front of our eyes.

So right before a new wedding is to commence, the maid and Nanny Mcphee are walking to the altar. There are two spectacular and very important things that happen.  They are brief and might even go unnoticed, but their impact is quite wonderful.  In one brief moment NannyMcphee says “how is your reading coming along?”  The maid and new bride to be confesses  that she has not finished the end of the story book that the Nanny had given to her.  It is then that Nanny McPhee says “no need, you are the end of the story”.  Think about it. You are the end of the story.

So often we forget we have a role not only in our story, but the story of others. I pray today you do not forget your part because you are the end of the story.  You are a vital part of God’s plan and your story is not over!  Your part is so neccessary and God wants to fulfill His purpose in You and through you!

Next, the sweet maid says “But I have nothing to wear on my wedding day” and as it begins to snow in August, a beautiful dress is formed out of thin air for the maid and future  bride.  Swirling white snowflakes form her lovely gown. As I saw this beautiful moment, I could not help but think, Yes that is it!

We must walk toward our purpose and sometimes, we are not ready. We may even lack all we need but God makes the provision.  Just like snow in August and a beautiful gown swirling out of nowhere for the scullery maid, God creates a covering for us!  One that reminds us that we are draped in Grace, mercy and forgiveness. We don’t have to worry about every detail of our lives, but we must remember we are the story and we will be glowing as we fulfill God’s call on our life!

A perfect evening.  A perfect movie to end a perfect day as we celebrate a perfect new logo.  Perfect for a tired old gal who sometimes finds herself at the end of her rope!  Hang on and hang in there dear friends. God has made provision for each of us.

Be blessed and encouraged abundantly today as we continue to have faith that God will fulfill His purpose in us and through us!

And here it is:
