Monday Muse ~ Dreams and Inspirations

Some days I look at my life and think to myself, How is it  that God can use me to lead other women and teach them the truths of the Gospel, when I myself am so flawed…  There are days my life looks full of imperfections, wacky and in shambles.  Before I go out to minister or I write my weekly posts, I often pray something like this; God use me in spite of myself!  He is faithful to use all of us, the good, the bad, the ugly, the wacky and our life even if it appears to be in shambles.

I came across this quote and had to share it to inspire those who feel that maybe they just aren’t good enough for God to use them to help others turn their hearts and lives toward God.  But God is God and He can use anyone willing to be used!

As we all know King David committed many sins but again as we look back at the word of God, David is described, “As a man after God’s own Heart.”

John Trent also reminds us that when Jesus commissioned Peter, He looked past his flaws and imperfections and saw Peter.  Not for who he was but who he could become! 

I love that!  That is what we are called to do as wives, parents, family, friends and believers most of all!

We are to pray, believe and work toward helping each other become who we can in His grace, His mercy, His forgiveness and His holiness.  It is then that we ultimately fulfill the call God has on our lives.

Today we can be a blessing or a curse. What do you want to be?

What will your words speak  in the lives of those you love, in the lives of your enemies and in the lives of the strangers that will cross your path?  

Be blessed and encouraged today aswe choose to be a blessing.  Praise the Lord that God can use us in spite of ourselves and remember every life has a bit of wacky in it.  God just makes the wacky apart of our story of victory as we choose to give Him all the Glory for all He has done.
